Summer of 2007

I recently graduated in June and was about to become a freshmen at Howard University. I was back and forth between staying at my grandma and my aunt's house (they live 3 blocks away). I had to get my fun in before I went off to DC for school. Parties with my best friends Adrianna & Whitney, working at McDonald's, hanging There were a couple of albums that will always take me back to that great summer:

Shock Value - Timbaland

Back To Black - Amy Winehouse

Luvanmusiq - Musiq Soulchild

And last but not least...

Good Girl Gone Bad - Rihanna (The album that catapulted her into stardom)

The soundtrack to summer 2007. I definitely have one song from each album that resonantes with me. Music defintely runs my life, lol, but I wouldn't have it any other way.

Free Music!

This is not a shameless plug, lol.

So I had to pull an all nighter last night and when I do, I like to listen to music, it keeps me motivated. My friend put me on to Pandora Radio like 2 months ago, so I was like, let me see what they got here. I'm in love now, lol. All you have to do is type in an artist and the site choses songs that are similar to the artists style. I was jamming HARD to some reggae last night/this morning, lol. They had a mix of new and old.

The sign up is free and you can give it a little test trial before you sign up. You won't be disappointed!

Random Music #3

Friday I was walking down the street and I already had Foxy Brown on my Zune. So I turned it on as I headed out the building and "Oh Yeah" came on. It made me smile a bit because it took me back to junior high, Ditmas I.S.62 to be exact (anyone from Brooklyn knows the reputation of that school, lol). I was a "dance" major and we had free time so someone popped in a Hot 97 bootleg CD (Yall know they came out with a CD like every week/bi monthly, lol). Foxy Brown's "Oh Yeah" came on and we started jamming. I remeber the girls always wanted me to do the dance homie did from 3:32-3:34, lol. I definitely Foxy was coming back because she was puttin out some good joints back then, but shit happens. The song also reminded me of when I would watch BCAT (a Brooklyn Cable Access channel) and they would play the new videos on Friday nights. ::sighs:: the good ol' days, lol. Peep the cameos from Spragga Benz (Foxy's old beau) and Baby Cham

Random Music #2

I was in my friend's room today (shout out to Lauren!) and she's always tryna stump me and ask me questions about singers and actors/actresses like, who was in this video, who was in this show, that type of stuff. So she asked me "Oh, did you know Lloyd was in that Sammie video?" So I said, "Oh, in 'I Like It' right?" and she was like,"UGH, I you know everything!" Then we started singing the song, lol. I was thinking about the song and it just reminds me of 5th grade. I just graduated from elementary school and my parent's took me to this seafood restaurant. They had TVs that played the latest video's and Sammie's song was playing while we were waiting for a table. I also remember my homegirl had the Sammie CD and she let me borrow it for like 2 weeks. While I had it, I played it every single day on my CD boombox, lol.

I Gotta Get Back To The $$$

Yes I do, lol.

I was on the shuttle, going to my room to chill before my two hour class (it's not as gruesome as it sounds) and I was thinking about saturday night. I was in my friend's car and the radio was on. They were mixing "You Ain't Know" by Lil' Wayne and Birdman and I was hype because this was one of the few songs I like that's Lil' Wayne affiliated. So I tuned to it while I was on the shuttle and I was just feeling it, like, "Damn, I do have to get back to the money."

Doesn't having a job feel good? Well,in some aspects. You work, do whatever it is you do, make your money and spend the hard earned money that YOU worked for. Not the money that mommy, daddy or boo in some cases gave you, YOUR money. This song defintely helped motivate me and prepare me for saturday's job hunt.

Young Mula BayBeh!! (Excuse me for LOVING that little line he shouts on virtually every song, lol)

Random Music #1

So, on my way to the bus to go back to school, this song popped into my head and I sang "No one's ready to deal with us." It was BOTHERING me because I didn't know who made the song. I sang it to Kevin and he had no clue as to what I was singing. I did my little youtube search and I found it! It's by The Beatnuts and it's called "No Excaping This." It came out in 2001 and I remember watching this video on BET's "Rap City" when Big Tigger was hosting it (THROOOOWWWBACK!!!! lol). I also remember a scene at towards the end of the video where Greg Nice was dancing and acting a fool. I remember it now and it cracked me up as much as it did 8 years ago.

"...Yall Know My Name,Charles Hamilton..."

Ok, I admit it, I have a tiny little crush on the new kid on the block (when it comes to Hip-Hop). I don't know what it is about him, maybe his arrogance, his intellect, his word play, or maybe it could be where he's trying to take Hip-Hop. ::shrugs:: I dunno, but I do know that this kid has talent, there's no denying that. He was one of XXL's Top 10 Freshmen and was on the cover with his other counterparts for the December 2008 issue.

The first song I heard from him was, of course, "Brooklyn Girl". I mean, I am a Brooklyn girl and I guess I would be a little crazy not to fall in love with it, but that's not the only reason why I like this song...maybe it is,lol. I don't know, but I love this song. I just found out that he sampled "Shorty Swing My Way" by KP and Envi for this joint, so that's cool. It was driving me crazy who was on the hook, lol. I just saw the video the other day and was hype because he filmed it in the downtown area of Brooklyn. Also, the scene where he's by the library and the church with that bright ass red door is by my old high school so that's definitely wassup.

Homeboy performed at my Homecoming too for this thing we have called YardFest. When he came out, I was like, "Who is this dude?" until I heard the DJ drop the track. I'm like, "I've heard this song before." So he comes out and raps and I'm like, "I know this song!" lol. He only performed "Brooklyn Girl" and I was feeling the groove, had my hand up and all (y'all know what I'm talking about) and he definitely peeped me on that, lol.

I hope I'm not coming off as a groupie because that's not me at all. I just have a crush on Charles Hamilton and I wanted to express that. UGH, I'm such a loser, lol.

Before I end this entry, check this video I saw last month. Cory Gunz, Charles Hamilton and Mickey Factz freestyling on Sirius Radio. Enjoy!

Introducing...Dani B.

Notice anything different? lol, I was wondering how to do it as well and I figured it out all by myself

I was reading some kid's blog and his first blog was about him, so I thought to myself, hmm, that makes sense, maybe I should make a blog entry introducing me to the blog world. So,that's what I'm about to do,lol

My name is Danielle S. Brissett but everyone calls me Dani, Dani B. or DB. I'm from Brooklyn, New York from Jamaican parents. I am a sophomore print journalism major at Howard University. My goal is to have a career in journalism as an entertainment journalist. I LOVE it at HU. Even though there are times where I wanna blow the shit up, lol, I couldn't imagine being anywhere else.

I love to sing, dance, write, eat, sleep, hang out with my friends, go out, watch movies, and listen to music. I listen to most types of music. I'm an R&B chick, but I can get down with some Hip-Hop from time to time. Music is one of the things that keeps me sane in this world.

I'm a real cool chick, very down to earth. A lot of people tell me I'm funny so I'm glad that I can make people laugh. I'm pretty honest with myself and other people but some people just don't know how to handle how blunt my honesty is. I try to stay postitive and it usually works out. I'm very carefree and it takes alot to make me mad, but I can get annoyed easily. I can be very shy at first, but once I'm comfortable, I can become very silly and goofy. I'm not a social butterfly, I usually stay reserved and to myself or the people I'm cool with. I'm lazy but when I'm determined to do something, it defintely gets done.

I'm not materialistic, but I love clothes and shopping, even though I don't really have the funds, lol. Some people say I have an addiction, but if that was the case, I wouldn't be able to pay my phone bill, some school fees, my books and things of that sort. My mom told me once that I like expensive things, which I guess is true. I hate cheap looking clothes, that's just not my style.

I have a boyfriend, his name is Kevin _________ (I'm not gonna put his buisnass out there like that, lol). I met him at a get together and we started talking in August 2007, before I left to go to college. We made it official August 27, 2007 and have been together for 1 year and 3 months so far. When I met him, I thought he was going to like any other dude I would talk to: we would talk and eventually lose touch, but he is different from any other dude I every talked to or was ever with. I am in love, I won't front and so is he. I honestly feel like he is the one for me but only time can tell. He gets on my nerves sometimes and I wanna slap the shit outta him, but he remains his composure and I can't stay mad at him forever, lol. He lives in Brooklyn, so yes, I am in a long distance relationship. It is hard because I can't see him whenever I want to, but it's all worth it at the end of the day. That's my pookie and I love him :-D

I think that's enough, I don't have any followers so I really don't know who's going to read this, lol. If you want to know more about me, just hit me up or read up on the blog

Music To My Ears

I'm about to go to bed. I was trying to study for my College Algebra 1 test; I got some work done, but I'm going to rest and study some more when I wake up. My final is from 4pm-6pm so I think I'll be cool.

I just wanted to blog really quick about a group I just got put on to: The Foreign Exchange. They are poppin, lol, that's the best way I can put it. I'll have to find out more information about them, but I've been listening to thier second album, "Leave It All Behind," for the past 3 days. It's great, their music is the epitome of grown and sexy. It's mellow and chill, I can definitely just imagine sitting in my living room with a glass of wine, unwinding and relaxing to this album, lol (My imagination is quite vivid, I know). Since I've been listening to it on imeem, the person who posted it included the instrumentals to it as well, which is a definite plus.

Here's the album

So Much Going On

There's been a lot going on in my life lately but the one thing that has kept me sane is music.

I was under a lot of pressure and stressed. I was jamming to Biggie's "Ready To Die" album and it helped me get through my slump a bit.

Since I've been so stressed, I don't know how to handle it and channel that energy into something positive so I take it out on Kevin by giving him attitude and being difficult. I tell Kevin what's going on with me and how I feel, but I don't expect the responds he gives me nor do I really like how he responds. I honestly feel a bit bored in this relationship and I was thinking about the relationship; what we should do to spice it up and make it exciting again. I don't know what to do yet, but I'll think of something (I am definitely willing to take suggestions).

Music is honestly a love of mine ("My First Love" by Jaspects ft. Janelle Monae, listen to that) and I don't know what I would do without it. [Sidebar: I sing but I'm very conscious about my voice, but I feel that if I keep singing and gain more confidence, I may possibly do something with my voice]. So I'm listening to "Take My Love Away" by Teedra Moses and I decided to look her up on Mypace where I came over her song "Take Me" ft. Rapheal Saadiq. This song just perfectly depicts how I feel about my relationship at this moment, as well as where it stands. There's nothing wrong, it's just a bit mundane.

Take Me - Teedra Moses

This is the live version, since imeem doesn't have much of Teedra Moses' songs from her album.

I'm going to bed, yesterday was a looooooooooong day.

Update

So,I have a new laptop now!!!! (thank God,lol) My daddy bought it for me when I went home for Election Day

[Sidebar: Can we say Obama!?!?]

I've been really drained with school and just trying to get by. I'm trying as hard as I can to remain positive about everything. It's a bit hard but I know that things will pull through and I will get what I want.

Kevin and I are still together. We discussed the issue in the previous 2 entries. I love him very much and we have plans for our lives together. I did hurt him by what I did and that hurt me to know what I did. He forgave me and I will definitely not take my relationship for granted.

I was supposed to go to Binghamton,NY for a carnival they have annually by SUNY Binghamton. I pulled out on my friend last minute because of personal reasons (school, funds). I just feel like I should be staying here and focusing on school, since there are only about 2 1/2 weeks left until the first semester is over. My friend/cousin is VERY upset because of how things are happening and she's being real sour. Not everyone is balling like you, come on now. It's a recession, plus people have more importnat things to put their time, money and energy into. You just have to suck it up and keep it moving. You can't have everything go your way, take it from someone who is kinda spoiled.

Q-Tip's new CD, "The Renaissance" debuted Novemeber 4th and I must say it is GREAT!!!! lol, I really love it. Who can't? Check it out at http://www.imeem.com/qtip. When I went home (Brooklyn) last weekend, Kevin & I were watching him on VH1 Soul's "Soundstage."

I have an essay to write that's due tomorrow so I'm bout to get that started, lol (so sad).

All Things Entertainment

This blog entry is dedicated to some things that deal with entertainment. Nothing bad, just the new things I love and how I feel about them

New Album
You already know Imma talk about Jazmine Sullivan's new album, "Fearless." I like it but the way they put the songs together just didn't fit right. My favorite tracks are "Bust Your Windows", "Lions, Tigers, and Bears", "My Foolish Heart", "Switch", and "Dream Big". I guess she had a lot of input in the song selections and wanted to display her versatality when it comes to genre. She probably didn't want to just stick to songs that were more like modern R&B. You can definitely feel the emotion she has in each song and it just gave me this feeling in my heart. I know for sure she would be fantastic live. I heard she recently shot her video for "Bust Your Windows" in Brooklyn,NY so look out for that. Here is her CD on good ol' imeem, lol
http://www.imeem.com/thevibe/playlist/OhL49ixq/jazmine_sullivan_fearless_music_playlist/

New Video/Short Film
I LOVE Janelle Monae, lol. When I found out her suite came out, I was feening. I had my boyfriend listen to some songs, but he really didn't like it. He also didn't think that I would listen to her style of music, but I do. I wish I could see her live but when I finally caught on to her, the day she performed on Central Park's Summer Stage passed. My time will come, lol. Anyway, I heard that her short film for "Many Moons" was debuting on 106 & Park. I have stopped watching 106 & Park for the simple fact that it's boring. Now it's 2 hours,oh father. But I flipped the channels from BET to whatever I was watching to make sure I didn't miss it. As soon as they said "Coming up,we have Janelle Monae", I didn't move an inch, lol. I really like this short film and it's just so hot so check it out!

New Movie
There's been a lot of talk about a movie being made about Biggie's (aka Notorious B.I.G.) life and now there is a teaser trailer. Me coming from Brooklyn am VERY hype and interested in seeing this biopic. Also, being from Brooklyn, I'm assuming the best of the best. That man is a legend in the rap game and his movie should be done in great taste. I was reading this blog and this girl said that she hopes the movie is good or she'll boycott it. I'm pretty sure Voletta Wallace (Bigge's mom) had a great deal in what was going on in the movie. She's very passionate about her son and I know she wouldn't have let it turn to shit. Angela Bassett plays her in the movie and Derek Luke plays Diddy. Watching the teaser trailer gave me chills just because anything with Biggie gives me chills, that's how you know he left his mark in the world. I was reading the 15 anniversary issue of VIBE with Jigga on the cover and you know how they have the photoshoot segment? Well, for the fashion photoshoot segement, they had the cast of "Notorious" (the name of the video) do a photoshoot in things they wore in the movie. I liked it. The movie is set to drop January 19 and I will be in there like swimwear, lol. Here's the teaser trailer

That's all I have for today. I hope you enjoyed, lol. I'll try to blog within this week.

Feeling Good

I wanted to write this blog while I have break in between my classes (I have 2 more to go for the day). I have a lot on my mind and I wanna get it out.

I'm feeling really good. I plan on doing very well this academic year. I have too much in stake to get lazy now. When I was a freshman, I was lost in sauce. Now that I am a "sophisticated" sophomore, lol , I am more determined and not (as) lazy as I was last year. I am aiming for A's &&. B's. C's are accepted, but that's not what I want, lol. Yesterday, I went to an interest meeting for the school's online magazine. I really want to be a part of that. Today, I saw a flyer for an interest meeting for the school's journalism club and they are having a trip to New York so the people that are interested can meet the big wigs in different journalism establishments. I'm thinking about going to that. Then I saw applications for the John H. Johnson's School of Communication's (School of C!!! ::puts up the C's::) annual job fair. The deadline was the 5th (last Friday), but I'm going to try and see if they are still admitting applicants. I NEED an internship next summer. Last summer, I had an interview with Maxin Digital but I didn't get it.

I am on my grind, HARD, lol. Like, I am not playing. I'm carving the path that I want for myself and I can't slack. Ain't no half stepping this time around, lol. You have to work hard for what you want and that's what I'm starting to do. I know that I also have to network and stop being such a hermit crab.

On a lighter note, I have a song of the week (Courtesy of http://renaissanceblackwoman.blogspot.com/ , I'm in love with this song now!) I stumbled upon it yesterday reading her blog and this is my new jam, added to the list of many, lol. This is Common ft. Marsha Ambrosious & Bilal - "The Light 2008 (It's Love)"

The Light 2008 (Its Love) - Common

OMG N.E.R.D.!

Lol, the title for this blog rhymes, yes. It's definitely well deserved because the new N.E.R.D. CD, "Seeing Sounds", leaves me in excitement and amazement. I haven't purchased it, but due to the internet (http://www.imeem.com/), I had the chance to listen to the album before coping the album. I can't say that I'm much of a N.E.R.D. fan, but the songs they came out with, I did like. This is their first CD I've listened to in it's entirety and I must say, I LOVE it,lol. It has the rocker-ish, skater type of feel. I just love the whole album. I would do a "music review" for the album so I can practice what I'll have to do in the future (in my career, another blog about that will come in the future) , but I don't want to nit-pick and breakdown each song. But, if this is your style and you like N.E.R.D. or any group that mixes hip-hop/rap styles to rock, then this would be a logical purchase.

Waiting...

This is a pet peeve of mine: waiting for people. NOW, my cousin is at her friend's recital and me and her are supposed to go downtown to check something. The recital started at 1 PM and it is now 3:19 PM (as I type). I am fresh (showered) & dressed, ready to go. When I want to do something, I just go and do it. I hate having to wait for people and I don't like when people are waiting for me, it makes me feel bad. This is the 2nd day in a row where I had to wait for this girl to finish what she's doing so we can do what we previously planned. Well, she has something that I need to get from her. Plus, it's Sunday, stores close way earlier. I'm not stressing it, well, not that much. I mean, we're going to the club tonight and I have no shirt to wear. ::sighs::

Speaking of the club tonight, my boyfriend will be there. Now, I've had a previous experience where I went to a party with an ex and I was not happy at the end of the night. I know how I am and I am jealous. I know Kevin won't OD, but it's these biddies I'm worried about. I just hope that none of these females pull a stunt or anything. But other than that, nothing but positvity for the night, ya diig? lol

So yesterday Kevin started his first day of work at the Aquarium (in Coney Island). He said his day was cool. I'm happy that he got a job because he was really looking for one for a minute and now he's found one. Kinda sad because we won't see each other as much as we have, you know? But he's working and he'll be getting money of the things he has been wanting. After work, I went to go check him. We went to grab some pizza at our favorite spot (Family Pizza, Flatbush & Parkside, good stuff, lol). After that, we went back to his house and watched some movies (Borat & Dreamgirls). I never saw Borat and watching it for the first time had me ROLLING, lol. It was really funny. After our lil movie thing, we left the house to meet up with his friend David and my cousin Adrianna because we were going to the chinese buffet by David's house. I had a fun time with my people. When we left the chinese buffet, we took pictures on the way back to David's house. We got to Dave's house and were just chilling, chatting up and being silly. Kevin and I were definitely being all lovey-dovey that night, him always asking me for a kiss and me always wanting to be near him, hugging him.

Song Of The Week: "Here I Stand" by Usher, the title track of his new CD. Kevin put me on to it,lol. I love this song

You're So Last Year (Last 5 Years Ago)

2 songs on heavy rotation: "Customer" by Raheem DeVaughn &&. "Let's Just Be" by NeYo. "Customer" IS MY JOINT!!! lmao,I LOVE that song. NeYo def. went in with "Let's Just Be." The song is just so chill and layed back,I love that song too.

Ok fellow readers, this is another blog about a boy that has nothing to do with Kevie Poo. This is about Mr. Andre, my first (puppy) love. I started talking to this boy in November of 2003. I know I was a freshman in high school and was SO ecstatic that someone was into me (I had self esteem issues). We talked and we caught feelings for each other. I really liked him, he really liked me. We went out for like, 2 weeks, but we were talking for about a year. When he broke up with me, I was so upset. Crying and everything at my place of employment at the time. I got over it quick, lol, but we continued to talk throughout the years. I saw him last summer and I went over to his house. We watched "23" (that movie with Jim Carrey) and were just chillin and stuff. We messed around a bit, but I was a virgin at the time (Sidebar: Like I said, I was a virgin at the time and I wanted to lose it before I got to college. I was afraid that if I went to Howard, dudes would try to take my virginity, as if it was a trophy. So I mentioned it to Andre and he was DEF with that idea. But I knew that if I lost my virginity to him, I would regret it). I slept over his house and went home the next morning. I kept in touch with him a bit over the summer, but that was it. I messaged him on MySpace to wish him a happy birthday and he messaged me back, giving me his number. I am a very caring person, so I still care for the boy, you know? He asked me to call him but he had to wait because I was out with my pookie (We went to Coldstones, then went to Court St. movie theater to see "Iron Man". It was good, surprisingly, go see it!). So I called him when I got in the house (after being on the phone with Adrianna and Kevie). We talk a bit and he ALWAYS brings up old shit, shit that happened when we were talking. Like ,dude, get over it,t he shit happened so long ago. This is his "list" of things I was and things I did:

Andre (2:42:14 AM): 1 u ma 1st
Andre (2:42:37 AM): boo
Andre (2:42:41 AM): sweetheart
Andre (2:42:43 AM): luv
Andre (2:42:45 AM): like
Andre (2:42:51 AM): real kiss
Andre (2:43:00 AM): girl to stand me up
Andre (2:43:18 AM): to make me wait outside n not come out
Andre (2:43:32 AM): to hurt me
Andre (2:44:12 AM): to make me travel 1 hr and a half on the bus
Andre (2:44:23 AM): to make me even take a bus
Andre (2:44:32 AM): to make me go to kp
Andre (2:44:54 AM): to turn me on so intensely
Andre (2:45:06 AM): to introduce me to they mom
Andre (2:45:14 AM): to lie to they mom about me
Andre (2:45:26 AM): to let they mom drop me somewhere
Andre (2:46:39 AM): u da first girl to b ma 2nd
Andre (2:47:10 AM): to cheat on me
Andre (2:47:27 AM): to play wit my feelins
Andre (2:47:35 AM): and emotions
Andre(2:48:07 AM): to stress me out
Andre (2:48:11 AM): make me cry
Andre (2:48:18 AM): make me depressed
Andre (2:48:31 AM): to tell me i aint all dat
Andre (2:48:52 AM): to not laugh at all ma jokes

FIRST of all, I want to know how did I hurt him (He didn't want to be specific). Second of all, I never cheated on him. While we spoke for that year, I didn't talk to any other dude, so I don't know what bullshit he's talkin about. Third of all, I want to know when I made him cry because countless tears dropped from these pretty eyes because of his Jamaican ass. That "b ma 2nd" shit, I have no clue what he's talking about. And he isn't all that, honestly, lol, but I liked him, so hey.

I'm going to see him tomorrow, nothing major. I have NO feelings for him whatsoever,so there won't be any feelings "resurfacing." If anything, Kevin will be on my mind the whole time. Speaking of Kevin, when we were at the movies, he told me that he doesn't want to leave me and he has no reason to.

I am SO in love with Kevin, it's like I'm in another world. We feel the same way about each other and are usually on the same page, something that I've been looking for in a partner. I couldn't stand to lose him, under whatever circumstance. Currently listening to "Dontchange" by Musiq Soulchild. This is the song we're dancing to at our wedding, lol. Yes, we will be gettin married, no "ifs, ands or buts" about it.

Sometimes

This song (by Cassie, Prod. by Ryan Leslie), I just LOVE it. I can listen to it over and over again, as I'm doing right now. Because sometimes, "I wish I didn't love you so much." I'll get to that topic in a minute.

I had an interview with Maxim Digital yesterday for in internship. I think it really well. I hope that I get the internship because I need something to do. I can't stay stuck in this house almost everyday. I can't take it,lol. I'm going to apply to some more internships, some jobs. I'll be fine if I don't get an internship, but if I get a job, I'll be cool. I need SOMETHING,lol.

OK, back to the situation at hand. Now, I've been with Kevin for almost 9 months (makes 9 on the 27th) and it has been great, it has. But I feel as if I have changed a bit. Like, I make more time for him than my friends. But in all honesty, my friends don't really contact me like that. Back to my situation: for example, yesterday, I went to my interview and after that Kevin was going to call me from his nap around 1 PM and we were going to spend a nice day at this park in Manhattan by his school. I get home and I'm chillin, waiting for him to call me. [Sidebar: When I usually see Kevin, it's for a weekend once a month. Now I'm back for the summer and I'm trying to see him everyday, at least as much as possible] He calls me at 3 something and apologizes about not calling me because that;s when he woke up. I'm pretty pissed because this is something I wanted to do, plus he knows how I feel about seeing him. So I'm mad at him a bit but he asks me to come over his house and I told him to wait because I was watching "The Bad Girls Club Reunion" (Good stuff, lol). After the show cuts off,I leave and come over there. He tries to make me laugh and compliments me on my Juicy Couture bracelet (Thank you Bestie!!!) and I'm like, "Don't make me laugh, I'm still mad at you." We get to his house and sit down, looking at everything but him. I'm reading magazines on his coffee table, turned away from him and he's tryna get me to talk to him. By doing that, I had to let him know that everything is not going to go your way or everything is going to be fine and forgotten as soon as you make me laugh. He thinks that that's going to work and it's not. In the future, he might think he's gonna get away with some shit like that, but I have to nip that in the bud and nip it quick. I tell him that I was upset and he knows how I feel about seeing him. He apologizes again and tells me that he doesn't want me to be upset, he wants me to be happy. We discussed the situation at hand and I believe that it is resolved. I chill at his house for a bit and we leave to go grab something to eat at McDonald's. We walk to the train station and I get on the train to go home.

Today,I wake up at 3:09 PM and I do the "morning" routine and he calls me. So I called him back and he tells me about what he did today. He asks me what I'm getting into today and I thought he had plans for me and him. I'm like "Why,you gonna be busy or something?" He's like, "Nah,I just wanted to know." After about 20 minutes of being on the phone, he tells me, "Let me finish eating the chicken patty. Imma check this niggas (his friends, Bryan and Travis) and holla at you later. Imma hit you up later though." So I say "Bye Kevin." I never say bye and that should've triggered something in his head, but I doubt he thought anything of it.

The love that I have for this boy boggles my mind. It is so strong,so crazy to me. This relationship has changed my way of thinking, some of my actions, all that. Some of the things he says and does affects me and I really wish I didn't love him so much sometimes. I don't want to come off ungrateful, because trust me, Kevin is EVERYTHING I have ever wanted and I am so grateful to have him in my life as my partner. But when he does certain things, my emotions and feelings are at an all time high and by feeling that way, I feel vulnerable,a feeling that leaves me to be very open to anything.
